This tour is a fantastic way to start exploring Bangkok by visiting this huge city’s true heart and soul! During this one-day trip, participants will be picked up from Conference Venue hotel and escorted to first temple complex, Wat Pho, known throughout Thailand for its Thai massage school as well as its immense reclining Buddha. After Wat Po, the short walk to the river and begin exploring some of Bangkok’s famous waterways; starting with the mighty Chao Phraya River. Then, reaching the docks and board a long tail boat that will give a scenic ride along the Chao Phraya. From this vantage point, participants will experience the river life of Bangkok and see the city from a completely different perspective. At one point, boat will leave the Chao Phraya and travel through some of the backwater narrow canals in Thonburi. Participants will witness a more sedate and traditional lifestyle still persisting away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. After returning to the docks and disembarking the long tail boat, there will be board a river ferry and cross the Chao Phraya to reach Wat Arun, one of Thailand’s most iconic temples. Get close to this magnificent structure and even climb partway up the stupa and take in the panoramic view over the surrounding area and the Chao Phraya. After lunch, this tour will head to the final destination which will be the hectic district of Yaworat to visit Bangkok’s China Town by foot and see Wat Traimit which features a solid gold Buddha. After completing the tour, participants will be driven back to Conference Venue hotel.
